What is polyurea coating?

Polyurea is a two-component elastomeric material commonly spray-applied with plural-component equipment. It reacts and sets rapidly to form a seamless protective layer.

How is polyurea different from epoxy?

They are different coating chemistries. Polyurea is often selected when rapid cure, flexibility, impact resistance, and seamless spray application matter. The right choice still depends on the substrate and service conditions.

What surfaces can receive polyurea?

Polyurea systems are commonly installed over properly prepared concrete and metal, with other substrates possible when the full system is designed for them. We inspect the surface before recommending an approach.

How quickly can the area return to service?

Polyurea can cure rapidly, but the usable timeline depends on the product, substrate, temperature, coating build, topcoat, and type of traffic. We provide project-specific return-to-service guidance.

Can polyurea be used outdoors?

Yes, when the system is designed for exterior exposure. Depending on the formulation and appearance requirements, a compatible UV-stable topcoat may be recommended.
